Le minaret Mudhafaria, ou minaret Choli, a été bâti à la fin du 12e siècle à Erbil, sous le règne du sultan Muzaffar (Muzaffer) al-Din Abou Said al-Kawkabouri (Mudhafaradin Kokberi). Contruit en briques, le minaret Choly mesure 36 m de haut et repose sur une base octogonale.
The Mudhafaria minaret, or Choli minaret, was built at the end of the 12th century in Erbil during the reign of Sultan Muzaffar al-Din Abu Said al-Kawkaburi (Mudhafaradin Kokberi). Built in bricks, the Choly minaret is 36 meters high and rests on an octagonal base.
